Andy's Duplainville Meatloaf Recipe

After enjoying Kens Railroad Chili seasoning in chili, I decided to give it a try in my favorite meat loaf recipe.  This is the next best thing to trains stopping in Duplainville.  You may receive a hot wheel reading over the Hartland detector.  Enjoy!

Mix 1 cup of tomato juice with 1 large egg.

Add 1 1/2 to 2 tsp of Ken's RR Chili seasoning and 1/3 cup of McCormick meatloaf seasoning and mix.

Add 1/2 of a large diced onion and mix.

Add 3/4 cup of Quaker Oats oatmeal ( non-instant ) and mix.

Mix in 1 1/2 lb of good quality ground beef.

Place ingredients in a meat loaf pan and bake at 350F for 1 hour.

When done, drain grease from bottom of pan and serve.  A few sprigs of parsley would give it a nice touch when serving.

Refrigerate leftovers and heat later when needed.  It seems to get better with age.
